Thank the lord!
No more spending two hours of my day lying on my back breathing in and out. Okay, it wasn't that bad, but never the less, I did not enjoy it 4 straight days in a row.
Last night I went to the American Dance Festival and got to see the Paul Taylor Company and it was fabulous. One of their dances was a premiere, so I was one of the first people to get to see it. During the second intermission my friend and I went to go say hi to Paul Taylor who was sitting relatively close to us, but there was this lady who like took up the whole last five minutes. And when the lights dimmed we all started walking along, and the lady who was taking to Paul Taylor sort of lightly pushed us along and said "Sorry, it's not gonna happen sweetheart." I resisted a strong urge to trip her because she was wearing very very high red heels that were super ugly. But later when we were leaving I got to shake his hand since he was coming out from backstage. And even though his "bodyguard" was like "Mr. Taylor is on a very tight schedule." I still felt reasonably pleased. But honestly do these people think that we are going to badger him to no end about complete nonsense????? It's ridiculous. So as we were walking back to the car, my friend and I did a Z snap to the rude red high heeled lady who was not in the vicinity unfortunately. I really would have gone up to her and said something if she'd been around. I don't like grown ups like that.
One week down, two more to go. One half of the play left to block. And I'm gonna be spending this weekend with my script and cleaning tools, while we prepare our new house so we can move into it. I hate moving. It's a real pain in the arse.
Movies I recommend:
Benny and June
Ghost World
Pride and Prejudiced
Wonder Boys
Romeo and Juliet(the Leonardo DiCaprio version)
Chocolate (has Johnny Depp in it. But if you see it, but chocolate before you watch it.)
