Mats for lying down on are underappreciated. Seriously.
anecdote (It relates, I promise): My friend and her family recently adopted an awesome girl from Estonia and are working on teaching her English. I was over and we were sitting on rockers on the porch and her mom asked her if she was comfortable. She didn't know what the English word comfortable meant, so her mom translated it as "happy bum". Comfortable=happy bum.
I liked today's whole "take your mind out of your breathing" concept. It just makes sense. We have instincts and I can make sure I don't die of asphyxiation without thinking about it. The really nice thing was that sometimes when I got confused about what I was supposed to be doing, we would conveniently stop for a stretch break, talk about it some more, and then get another chance to try again. The timing!
I sold sour celery from my cellar... to Sally. Alliteration gone too far? you decide.
oh, and games=fun
high fives to everyone for finishing the read-through!
