Underwear Goes Inside the Pants

I didn't blog yesterday and right now I'm doing nothing but watching a Saturday Night Live rerun so here goes.

So no more breathing. Man that's gonna feel weird. As frustrating as it was for most if not all of us I'm pretty sure that it was the only time we'll be falling asleep while working.

It's really fascinating to hear what text you all decided to bring in. I think it's really cool that we get to use something personal like that. In addition to its use as an acting exercise, it's kind of a way to learn something about each other that we may not have found out otherwise.

So I was on my computer last night and I found the words to a song that could have just as easily been my text for the day. It's basically a comedy routine done to music and it gives a really good insight into all the stuff that's wrong with the world. It really is hilarious and it's called "Underwear Inside the Pants." Check it out.

Speaking of the text that I did end up using, it's by a really great local band called Pivot. I'm always trying to gain support for them by publicizing them to my friends. You can hear some of their insanely good music at myspace.com/pivot and there is a music video for the song I used on YouTube. Just type in "pivot erase it" and you'll have it (they have changed singers since the video was made but to my knowledge they still play the song at their live shows). You may not get the same emotional rise out of it that I do but still, take a look.
